WEBSITE DESIGN CLIENT: ST MARY'S CHURCH
St Mary's Parish Church, Kilburn, and St James' West Hampstead required a website that they could use jointly: to unite the community, inform their congregations, and attract visiting worshipers.
Although both churches serve very different communities, they are united in their approach.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
Client Administration Area – An administration area was created, so the client can update their bulletins and service times onto the site.
It's simple, safe, secure, and no software or training is required.
Picture Swap – The top level pages have a random picture selection, each time you visit the same page a different picture is revealed.
360 Degree Virtual Tour – The restoration of the clock tower was a major undertaking. To show the extent of the work, a 360 degree virtual tour was incorporated into the site, where the viewer controls the camera.
PDF Downloads – A series of fact sheets were generated with informative and involving facts about the church and its history.
THE BRIEF:
Create a site which reflects the spirit of both churches, which is: approachable, warm, contemporary and traditional.
“We looked at dozens of church websites, and they all looked the same. The design that Fred came up with captured the essence of what we are about and we are delighted.”
Father Andrew Cain, Vicar, St Mary's Parish
